Activity 6: The German Holocaust

.) The Holocaust was the extermination/mass genocide of European Jews by the Nazis.
.) The Nazis believed that the Jews were biologically inferior and a threat to the German people. They wanted to cleanse their country. They wanted to create a pure, Aryan nation. They blamed the Jews for the economic crisis.
.) Biocotted Jews.  Then stripped Jews of all rights. Then they sent Jews to ghettoes. Then sent to concentration camps. Then the firing squads or special action groups came in and shot Jews. Then they were taken to death camps, because the rate at which they were killing Jews was to slow. The firing squads was also known as Einsatzgrupen.
.) During World War II, they did not do much, but after the war, they killed all people responsible for the holocaust.
